The 1949 Roadmaster was the fifth generation model introduced by Buick. The 1949 Roadmaster was the first model to have the famous “four-hole,” called as “ventiports.” These “ventiports” are placed on the car’s front fenders. It provided ventilation for the engine but later on plugged and was only use for aesthetic appeal.
