Celebrating Britain’s best streets. The view looking down from the top of Gold Hill in Shaftesbury, Dorset, has been described as one of the most romantic sights in England. The steep cobbled street, lined with beautiful chocolate-box cottages, is famous for its picturesque appearance. It has been used as a setting for film and television, including the famous 1973 “Boy on a Bike” Hovis advert, directed by Ridley Scott.
- As with all Gibsons jigsaws, they use 100% recycled puzzle board, FSC paper and work with the best artists from all around the world. The beautifully illustrated pieces are designed to fit perfectly together; in fact, they use the thickest puzzle board on the market. Everyone loves a Gibsons jigsaw, even Her Majesty the Queen has been spotted with one.
- Gibsons have made some positive changes to their processes, so you can be sure you’re getting the same great puzzles and know that they are kinder to the environment. Not only does the box have a fresh new look, but they have used biodegradable clear labels to secure the lid instead of shrink wrap to reduce our plastic waste. There is a gloss coating on the box for extra protection and the puzzle pieces are stored in a plastic bag that can be recycled by most councils.
- Because the box is slightly smaller than previous designs, they need less room to transport their products which reduces our carbon footprint and means you can store your puzzles more easily. They have also popped an artwork poster inside for you to reference whilst you piece together your lovely jigsaw puzzle.
