The Bf 109 played an important role in all missions during World War II. The prototype first flew on May 28th, 1935. The single-seat fighter had a DB 605 engine with a maximum of 1,435 hp, a top speed of 594 km / h at an altitude of 7,400 m. The total production number was around 35,000 pieces.
