- The Mediterranean island of Malta is legendary for its fleets of British vehicles of all kinds and this refreshing yellow Dennis fire appliance is a fine example.
- The St John Rescue Corps of Malta is a voluntary organisation established in 1986 to provide rescue aid and services during community events and large-scale rescue operations.
- This 1991 Dennis Excalibur Water tender/Ladder appliance, donated to the organisation by Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service, represents one of the St John Rescue Corps vehicles in use at such events.
- With an authentic Maltese registration plate TFI 714 the model features the St John Rescue Corps graphics on the front and the sides.
- The main body colour scheme is yellow with red/orange chequered effect to the sides, silver applied to shuttering, ladders and cab side steps and red/orange chevroned rear.
- The roof is amply provided with ladders and the roof also features red air horns and blue roof beacon lights. The chassis and remaining trim are all black.
