- The VW T1 Samba Bus in real life made its appearance in 1951. The Samba Bus was considered at the luxury end of the range when improved features included two pivot doors at the side and a fabric sunroof. A mass of windows also gave it a light and airy feel. The Samba came with two-tone bodywork separated by a decorative strip.
- Here the VW T1 Samba Bus comes resplendent in two-tone red and white Coca Cola livery, even down to the decorated surf boards on the roof which also carry the famous US drinks company graphics.
